With winter upon us, it’s a good time to reflect on how to handle slippery driving conditions. In the instructional video below we see two young ladies attempting to navigate a ridiculously icy street. Granted, roads this slick are exceedingly rare, but take a look and see if you can spot anything the car’s occupants might have done better.

Give yourself 5 points if you noted that they could have pumped the brakes.

Give yourself 95 points if you think they should have not jumped from the vehicle, thereby commuting a small risk of minor bruising from a low speed crash into the much higher risk of being run over by their own damned car.
