Zapping Your MGAT2

Great news for chunky chicken wing laden Americans: Science has found that a specific gene which regulates the enzyme MGAT2 is apparently responsible for your body either storing or metabolizing fat. At least in mice, when that gene was knocked out, mice on high fat diets kept their slim physiques while their normal counterparts packed on the pounds. So if you’re pining for a glutton burger, then you’d better check your jeans genes first.
