While it’s tempting to cringe over the headline above, you have to remember that in the U.S. Senate, 4 in 10 is a majority. So the confusion is perhaps understandable.

The new and improved Cogitorium is up and working. A few minor bumps, including a server crash tried to impede me, but I persevered. Hopefully you’ll like the new clean look. It should be familiar, yet look new. At least that was what I was going for, so even if you didn’t get that out of it, just humor me.
A few bookkeeping bits. The RSS feed address has changed. If you use the feed, you should update your reader. The old paths are being forwarded, but I won’t guarantee that will work forever.
I also used a bit of PHP magic to get all the permalinks to work. I spot checked a bunch and they seemed to work, but if anyone finds any links to the old site that don’t get you where you were going, let me know. This may be most evident in the bit.ly links that are posted on Twitter and Facebook. So let me know what’s broken.
And that goes for anything else on the new site that you find that doesn’t work like you think it should. It hasn’t been tested extensively, so any help in finding things that don’t work or are a pain would be much appreciated. Suggestions for new features are great as well.
Meanwhile, I’ll try to get some new content up here now that I have a spiffy new place to publish it.
