The Abstruse Goose blog brings an interesting graphic of what alien civilizations would be watching if they were seeing our television broadcasts. On the one hand, you got to feel sorry for Wolf 359, they must be lamenting that a society with so much promise has fallen so far into cultural decline. But not to fear, electromagnetic dissipation is such that it’s highly unlikely (approaching impossible) our broadcasts would be remotely coherent signals at the distance of even the nearest star.
