One of the great aspects of April Fools Day are all the creative bogus announcements and news stories that hit the web. Techcrunch has provided a pretty long list of some of the best efforts. I even made an attempt myself this year, although it pales to some of the more creative efforts out there.

Some of the more noteworthy pranks include:

Expedia is offering flights to Mars

Qualcomm’s developments around wireless convergence (be sure to watch the video)

The announcement that Twitter is now part of FEMA’s emergency response network

And in what I believe is a 1st time play for a staid old company, Kodak announces their eyeCamera 4.1
