This is for my sons, who are rabid collectors and fans of all things Zoids related. My son Tyler even has a chunk of his website devoted to his sickness passion. (Note: It’s a good place to go if you have no idea what I’m talking about.)

A man in Japan has devoted the last 11 years to creating a Zoid-like creature. I don’t really know if it is intended to be one of the actual Zoid robots, but it almost certainly has to be inspired by that. Either way, the Beetle-bot is seriously awesome. It’s not clear if this unit has a charged particle cannon or not. They don’t show it in the video, but with 11 years of his life into this thing it would just be unthinkable that there wasn’t a beam weapon in there somewhere. As I write this, Mechagodzilla is shaking in his little tin boots.
