While Bill Clinton analyzes the nuances of the meaning of the word “is”, apparently the Pro-Life lobby has no doubts about the meaning of the word “choice.” All of which was a substantial surprise to Krispy Kreme when they offered free doughnuts on January 20th to honor “American’s sense of pride and freedom of choice on Inauguration Day.”<\/p>\n

Presumably they meant the freedom to elect a black secret Muslim as President. But the American Life League knows all too well that “choice” is code for “killing babies.” Key quote:

“The unfortunate reality of a post Roe v. Wade America is that ‘choice’ is synonymous with abortion access and celebration of ‘freedom of choice’ is a tacit endorsement of abortion rights on demand,” American Life League President Judie Brown said in a news release. “The next time you stare down a conveyor belt of slow-moving, hot, sugary glazed donuts at your local Krispy Kreme you just might be supporting President-elect Barack Obama<\/a>‘s radical support for abortion on demand.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I’m thinking that maybe Judie Brown should switch to decaf with her free doughnut. Next thing you know you won’t be able to put sprinkles on Christmas cookies without being seen as supporting gay marriage.<\/p>\n
