Apparently, you can now buy an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drugstore.com\/products\/prod.asp?pid=213041&amp;catid=91413\">Obama Chia Pet<\/a>.  Lest you think this is frivolous, note that this model explicitly says &#8220;Determined Pose&#8221;.  Although I cannot find any other poses for sale, you have to admit, for a terra cotta statue with green grassy hair, he looks pretty darned determined.<\/p>\n<p><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/www.drugstore.com\/products\/prod.asp?pid=213041&amp;catid=91413\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 300px;\" src=\"http:\/\/a1468.g.akamai.net\/f\/1468\/580\/1d\/pics.Drugstore.com\/prodimg\/213041\/300.JPG\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Part of me wonders if this might be a bit racist, but they also sell a Homer Simpson Chia, so the organic hair is not exclusively for Afros.  Heck, there&#8217;s even a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tvproducts4less.com\/bg-tngchhip.html\">Chia Hippo<\/a>, which seems a little counter intuitive given the smooth skinned nature of those beasts.<\/p>\n<p>But one thing remains clear.  Bush didn&#8217;t have a Chia.
