{"id":927,"date":"2008-12-22T09:24:00","date_gmt":"2008-12-22T14:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicholsclan.com\/tinblog\/2008\/12\/oh-christmas-shark-oh-christmas-shark.html"},"modified":"2008-12-22T09:24:00","modified_gmt":"2008-12-22T14:24:00","slug":"oh-christmas-shark-oh-christmas-shark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timscogitorium.com\/tinblog\/2008\/12\/oh-christmas-shark-oh-christmas-shark.html","title":{"rendered":"Oh Christmas Shark, Oh Christmas Shark&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Honestly, I&#8217;m not searching for this stuff, it just finds me.<\/p>\n<p>Guests at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas might have been surprised recently when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/newstopics\/howaboutthat\/3849256\/Shark-jumps-out-of-aquarium-into-swimming-pool.html\">one of the resort&#8217;s reef sharks decided to take a turn on the water slide<\/a> and wound up in the main pool.  Apparently, it jumped from it&#8217;s tank in the adjacent aquarium and landed on the slide.<\/p>\n<p>I can picture all the guests trying to contain their panic as they tried to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timscogitorium.com\/tinblog\/2008\/12\/ill-be-chum-for-christmas.html\">calm the beast by nervously singing<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"font-style: italic;\"><p>Oh holy crap!<br \/>   There&#8217;s a big shark in our pool now<br \/>   It is the day of our dear final breath!<br \/>   Quick may he chew, we hope our death is speedy<br \/>   Not like the Guard who jumped in and was his lunch.<br \/>   A thrill of fear, yet I feel so warm with glee<br \/>   Oh wait, never mind, it was just that I peed.<\/p>\n<p> Swim for your lives<br \/>   Oh feel the teeth a&#8217; grinding<br \/>   Oh why didn&#8217;t I?<br \/>   Stay at the Ramada<br \/>   Oh why didn&#8217;t I?<br \/>   Oh why didn&#8217;t I? <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At which point the shark took pity on them and died.  It was either the singing or the chlorinated water that did him in.
