{"id":530,"date":"2006-09-17T12:17:00","date_gmt":"2006-09-17T17:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicholsclan.com\/tinblog\/2006\/09\/oh-silly-me.html"},"modified":"2006-09-17T12:17:00","modified_gmt":"2006-09-17T17:17:00","slug":"oh-silly-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timscogitorium.com\/tinblog\/2006\/09\/oh-silly-me.html","title":{"rendered":"Oh Silly Me&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In response to the Pope&#8217;s refusal to apologize for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/servlet\/story\/LAC.20060916.POPE16\/TPStory\/\">quoting an obscure 15th century Byzantine<\/a> emperor who noted that Islam codified violence as part of its doctrine, Muslims are now <a href=\"http:\/\/news.scotsman.com\/index.cfm?id=1373962006\">attacking churches<\/a> and have threatened to bomb the Vatican.  Apparently the bombings will continue until the Pope apologizes for the statement and publicly asserts that Islam is a religion of peace.
