{"id":1695,"date":"2010-04-03T07:18:57","date_gmt":"2010-04-03T11:18:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicholsclan.com\/tinblog\/?p=1695"},"modified":"2010-04-02T09:53:50","modified_gmt":"2010-04-02T13:53:50","slug":"dont-tip-the-island","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timscogitorium.com\/tinblog\/2010\/04\/dont-tip-the-island.html","title":{"rendered":"Don&#8217;t Tip the Island!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To be a Congressman you must be 25, a resident of your state, and a U.S. citizen.\u00a0 With respect to the founding fathers, I think we need to augment that list just a tad.\u00a0 I would like to propose we add, &#8220;must have an IQ exceeding that of a common houseplant&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>As evidence for the need of this amendment, I submit Hank Johnson (D-GA).\u00a0 Watch the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zNZczIgVXjg&amp;feature=player_embedded\">attached video<\/a> where at around the 1:25 mark Mr. Johnson sincerely expresses his concern that sending more people to Guam will cause the island to tip over and capsize.<\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"640\" height=\"385\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/zNZczIgVXjg&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x234900&amp;color2=0x4e9e00\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"640\" height=\"385\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/zNZczIgVXjg&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x234900&amp;color2=0x4e9e00\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, I now have new found respect for the military.
