Brothers Wang Kai and Wang Rui have just set the damned bar a bit too high.\u00a0 They&#8217;ve <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinadaily.com.cn\/china\/2010-03\/10\/content_9563882.htm\">been ferrying their mother around China in a custom made hand drawn cart<\/a>.\u00a0 It seems she&#8217;s always wanted to travel, but gets dreadfully car sick.\u00a0 So they built the 3-bed carriage cum travel trailer and have pushed and pulled their mom over 4500 km this year.\u00a0 They average about 40 km\/day on foot while Mom takes in the scenery from  the carriage window.\u00a0 They took her on a similar excursion in 2007.\u00a0 And are somehow planning to get the rig to Taiwan to explore there as well.\u00a0 Given their track record, I expect they&#8217;ll just outfit the thing with pontoons and swim her over.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinadaily.com.cn\/china\/2010-03\/10\/content_9563882.htm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Mom in Carriage\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chinadaily.com.cn\/china\/images\/attachement\/jpg\/site1\/20100310\/001ec95974af0d011ff033.jpg\" alt=\"Mom in Carriage\" width=\"450\" height=\"257\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sorry Mom.\u00a0 This is a level of filial piety I just can&#8217;t muster.\u00a0 You&#8217;ll have to settle for free tech support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I thought I loved her, but all things being relative, it turns out I&#8217;m not even close.
